Problem:
When I click on the New Message button, a dialog appears allowing me to save submit-bbs-form.cgi. I'm not able to add a new message to the BBS.
Solution:
The server is not configured to execute CGI scripts/programs with an extension of cgi.
Problem:
I can't enter any messages. When I click the New Message button I am asked if I want to download a file, or run it on-line. If I select on-line my computer asks me what program I want to use.
Solution:
When clicking on the New Message button, a dialog allowing you to download submit-bbs-form.cgi will appear unless the server is configured to execute CGI-extension scripts. The message board component requires the server to be able to directly execute such scripts from any cgi-bin directory.
