When defining the Success URL and Error URL component properties to use pre-existing web pages (HTML files that exist on the server prior to publishing your form), you need to use the External Link tab and enter the correct URL for the page. The key here is correct. In the External Link address field, you don't want to include the preceding protocol tag (http://). This protocol tag should appear in the drop down box in the upper left hand corner of the External Link dialog.
