Changing page´s HTML output to Fixed Page has no effect with default site setting
The default site setting for HTML generation is Dynamic Page Layout. If a site buiklder changes a page´s HTML output to Fixed Page Layout in Page view, no Layer tags are created during publishing.
HTML SOURCE VIEW
NetObjects Fusion crashes when switch to HTML when Site Character Set is Japanese(SHIFT_JIS)
If you switch the Site Character Set to Japanese(SHIFT_JIS) and then attempt to go to HTML Source view, either results in “nothing” generated (blank) or NetObjects Fusion crashes. I've gotten the crash result more often.
IMPORT
Import HTML: Some sites cannot be imported locally; cannot contact Home page error
Local pages are located on desktop
Now capable of slurping the local index.html files in nested directories (each with less than eight character names).
Import: Site with page HTML output set to Fixed Page Layout is lost when imported
Create a new site from a 5.0 template with a Page HTML output set to “Fixed Page Layout,” will revert to being set as “Site Setting” in Page view.
NAVIGATION BARS
Navbar corrupted and contains different styles
After switching the style of navbars and banners while publishing NetObjects Fusion will combine different styles into a single navbar. This occurs in NetObjects Fusion 5.x but not in NetObjects Fusion 4.x.
PAGE GENERATION
Character Stripping fails and produces pages with the name Page<random#>
When you name a page using a character that can not be use in a URL, Netobjects Fusion changes this to either a “_” or the equivalant (ie. ™ becomes TM). For invalid characters, such as Japanese characters, the page will automatically be renamed “Page####.”
New sites specify incorrect “NetObjects Fusion 5.0.1 for Windows” META tag
Generator META tag should state “NetObjects Fusion 5.0.2 for Windows.”
