BUTTONS AND ICONS
Problem: In Windows NT 4.0 Task Manager, application icons and names don´t match, and/or ScriptBuilder icon doesn't appear.
Solution: Highlight the name, rather than the icon, of the application you want to manage in Task Manager.
Problem: When multiple documents are open and maximized, the X icon at the top-left corner of the window (the Window Close icon) for the active document appears grayed out, although the icon is functional.
Solution: Click on the grayed-out X icon to close the window.
COLOR SYNTAX HIGHLIGHTING
Problem: If you have a variable that can be read as an HTML tag and it follows an angle bracket (<)— such as “if j<i”—syntax highlighting will start at the “<i” and continue until it finds a closing angle bracket (>).
Solution: Insert a space between the opening angle bracket (<) and the variable (“if j< i”), or change your variable name so that it can no longer be confused with an HTML tag.
Other Issues
Escape characters (\") placed within a string will affect the string's color syntax highlighting.
When color syntax highlighting for JavaScript or VBScript is in use, any keywords for the respective language that appear within HTML tags will also become highlighted.
If the background color for script tags is set to Black in the Preferences dialog box for color syntax highlighting, script tags will appear with white backgrounds.
DIALOG BOXES
Problem: If your systemwide Windows font is large (as selected either in ScriptBuilder preferences or in Windows preferences), the label text in the ScriptBuilder 2.0 dialog-boxes may exceed its allotted space.
Solution: Set your Windows font to a “standard” size or font style.
