Internet Explorer 4.x Windows vs. Macintosh |

For these screen shots the Internet Explorer 4.x browser on the Macintosh had the default font set to Large Times New Roman, so as to generally match the display font size of the Windows counterpart. An interesting note here is that the Macintosh version of IE correctly supports all the list types while IE on Windows does not. |

As you can see here there is a significant difference in how non-breaking spaces are handled in Internet Explorer on the Mac. This is something to watch carefully particularly if you are cutting and pasting text which might contain extra spaces. |
