Sun
Sun Solaris 7.0 is the operating system that NetObjects Matrix uses for Web servers, application servers, and database servers (this an optional operating system that a Service Provider chooses between Sun Solaris and Intel). NetObjects Matrix also uses JavaSoft's J2EE server-side java technology in our platform and online builder.

Oracle
NetObjects Matrix uses Oracle 8i database as its database server and back-end database.

Miva
Miva provides leading e-commerce platforms for channels that target small and medium-sized businesses. NetObjects has integrated Miva´s award-winning Miva Merchant e-commerce solution into NetObjects Matrix, making it very easy for small busineses to start selling online.

Red Hat
NetObjects Matrix uses the Red Hat Linux 6.2 operating system for Web servers and application servers (SP chooses Solaris 7.0 or Linux 6.2 for Web/app servers).

SuSE
International versions of NetObjects Matrix (in Europe) can use SuSE Linux operating system for Web servers and application servers (SP chooses Solaris 7.0, Linux 6.2, or SuSE Linux for Web/app servers).

Intel Pentium processors are the processors inside the operating system that NetObjects Matrix uses for Web servers and application servers (SP chooses between Sun Solaris using a Sun Sparc processor and Intel). Every software/hardware company makes their product compatible with the Pentium class of product because it is so ubiquitous.

Allaire
NetObjects Matrix uses Allaire JRun3.0 as its application server with built-in load balancing.

Cisco
NetObjects Matrix uses Cisco Local Director load-balancing technology for Web and application servers.

F5
NetObjects Matrix uses load-balancing technology from F5 for Web and application servers.

Veritas
NetObjects Matrix uses Veritas database clustering and load-balancing mechanism for the Oracle 8i servers. This gives NetObjects Matrix "High Availability" fail-over to improve end-user performance.
