Creating links

Linking your text or images to another page or another site is simple with NetObjects Fusion. Link from page to page within your site, link to other sites, and even create links that let visitors download files right from your Web site.

Simply select the text or image you want to link.

Then click the Link button in the Text Properties palette.

Next, select the type of link you want to make: Internal Link, Smart Link, External Link, or File Link.

NetObjects Fusion automatically creates the link.

Or choose a page-anchor link.

Page-anchor links

You can use page-anchor links to point visitors to a specific location on the current page. These anchors are particularly helpful when you have a very long text page.

To create a page-anchor link, place your cursor where you would like to create an anchor, click the Anchor button in the Text Properties palette, and name your anchor link in the Add Anchor dialog box.

NetObjects Fusion inserts an icon to indicate a page-anchor link. You can now link directly to this location from any other location in your site using the Select Anchor drop-down list in the Link dialog box when you establish a page link.

NetObjects Fusion makes linking a snap. Just  point, click, and link!
