Drawing Shapes

To draw an ellipse, rectangle, rounded rectangle, or polygon:

  1. In Page view, select the Draw tool on the Standard toolbox and choose the shape you want to add from the flyout.

  2. Draw the shape on the page.

The Properties panel for the shape you created appears.

  1. Type an alt tag in the AltTag field.

  1. In the Line width box, set the shape outline thickness.

To make the border invisible, set it to zero.

  1. In the Color section of the Properties panel, click the Fill Color button. In the Color Picker, select the color you want to assign to the shape fill and click OK.

  2. Click the Line Color button. In the Color Picker, select the color you want to assign to the shape border and click OK.

  3. To adjust the shape, drag its handles.

When you publish a page with shapes, NetObjects Fusion 12 generates each shape as a .gif file. If the page contains more than one shape of the same type, NetObjects Fusion 12 adds a number to the shape’s file name. For example, the first rounded rectangle you draw is named a_Rounded_Rectangle.gif, the second one is named a_Rounded_Rectangle1.gif, the third a_Rounded_Rectangle2.gif, and so on.
