Prior to transferring files to the server, you may want to see which files are already on the server and the dates they were modified.
To see a server’s contents:
In Publish view, in the Remote pane, choose the profile associated with the server you want to review and click Connect.
Check the folder and file names and the modified dates to determine which folders and files you want to save or delete before transferring new HTML files to the server.
